Replace the cover, keep the bed
The foam insert is the expensive part and it outlasts the fabric over it. When the cover is past saving, this swaps in and the bed is new again.
Machine washable at 30°
Which also means you can own two and always have one on the bed while the other is in the machine — the usual reason people buy a spare rather than a replacement.
An exact fit, not a near one
Cut for the Big Snooze Pro insert specifically, with a secure zip fastening. Same plush outer as the cover that came with the bed.
Why this exists at all
The foam outlives the fabric, every time
High-density foam holds its shape for years. The cover over it takes mud, moulting, the occasional accident and a wash every few weeks, and it wears out long before the thing it is protecting does.
Throwing away a working orthopedic bed because the outer is stained is an expensive way to solve a fabric problem. This is the official outer shell on its own, in the same sizes, so the bed carries on.

Will this fit my bed?
It's designed as an exact-fit replacement for the Big Snooze Pro Orthopedic Dog Bed only, in Medium, Large and XL. Order the same size as your bed — the size is on the label sewn into your original cover.
I bought the XXL bed — can I still get a cover?
Yes. We stopped selling the XXL bed, so the 2XL cover is no longer listed here, but we still keep them for the customers who bought one. Email info@thebigpetshop.com with your order number and we'll raise the order for you.
Does it include the foam?
No — this is the outer cover only. It zips over your existing Big Snooze Pro foam insert, which is exactly why it's the cheaper way to make a worn bed feel new again.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 30°C. It's quick to dry, so your dog isn't bedless for long.
Is it the same fabric as the original?
Yes — the same soft plush outer fabric with the same premium feel, and a secure zip so it fits snugly over the foam.
