Moving water is the whole trick
Cats and dogs are drawn to water that moves — it is why they walk past a full bowl to drink from the tap. Keep it circulating and they drink from it willingly.
Genuine stainless steel
Not plastic with a steel-look finish. Steel does not hold odours or harbour bacteria the way a plastic bowl does after a few months, and it wipes properly clean.

Why they ignore a full bowl
They'd rather drink from the tap or a puddle
It is not fussiness. Still water sitting in a bowl is, to a cat or dog, water that might have been standing for days — so the instinct is to go and find some that is moving. A full bowl gets walked past and the tap gets stared at instead.

Replace the filter every 2–4 weeks depending on how many pets use it and how hard your water is — a multi-pack is worth keeping in the cupboard. Hand wash recommended. The base is wide and weighted, but a very boisterous large dog is best given a corner where it cannot be shouldered over.

Do I need to buy anything else to use it?
Just a USB adapter, power bank, or any device with a USB port — the same kind you'd use to charge a phone. It deliberately uses universal USB power rather than a fixed wall plug, so it works the same in the UK, US or Canada.
How often do I replace the filter?
Every 2–4 weeks, depending on how many pets use it and your local water. One filter is included in the box.
Is it noisy?
No — the pump is designed to run quietly. There's a very faint hum, as with any small motor, but most owners and pets stop noticing it after the first day.
Can more than one pet use it?
Yes — the 2.2L capacity comfortably supports a multi-cat household, or a cat plus a small-to-medium dog. You may just refill slightly more often.
Why stainless steel rather than plastic?
Stainless steel doesn't leach chemicals, hold bacteria or retain odours the way plastic can over time — and it's far easier to keep spotlessly clean.
Will my dog knock it over?
The wide, weighted base stays stable during normal drinking. For very large or boisterous dogs, place it somewhere it can't easily be nudged.
