The fur goes in the canister
Not on the floor, the sofa and your jumper. A 2L canister gets through a double coat without stopping, and the cyclone separator stops hair tangling round the mechanism.
Why it isn't a vacuum with an attachment
Grooming a shedding dog redecorates the room
Clip or brush a moulting coat and the hair goes everywhere — floor, sofa, your clothes, and a fine layer over the whole room by the time you are finished. The tidying up afterwards takes longer than the grooming did, which is why most people stop doing it and pay someone else.
The Big Groom catches it at the source: it clips, brushes, deshedding-combs and vacuums at the same moment, pulling the loose coat into a sealed canister as it comes off. Eleven purpose-built tools round one quiet motor, with five suction levels so a nervous cat starts at 4KPa and a heavy double coat gets the full 12.

Start low, around 4–6KPa, for first sessions and nervous pets and build up; 10–12KPa suits a heavy-shedding double coat, and finishing work round ears and paws is better on a lower setting. Canister lifts out to empty, filter rinses under the tap and air dries.

Is it safe for cats as well as dogs?
Yes. The lowest suction setting and softer brush attachments are gentle enough for most cats, though it's worth introducing it gradually and letting your cat get used to the sound before a full session.
How loud is it really — will it scare my pet?
It's rated under 60dB in normal use, meaningfully quieter than most vacuum-style grooming tools. Most pets adjust within the first session or two — always introduce it gradually with a nervous animal.
Do I need to buy separate combs or attachments later?
No — all 11 tools (clipper, 6 guard combs, and 4 additional brush/nozzle heads) are included in the box.
Is the clipper cordless?
Yes, the hair clipper is rechargeable and cordless, separate from the main vacuum unit, so you're not tethered to the hose for trimming work.
How do I clean it after use?
The 2L canister lifts out and empties easily, and the stainless steel filter can be rinsed under water and air dried. The cyclone separator is designed to stop hair wrapping around the internal mechanism.
